Melissa Appel has been promoted to Facility Manager for FW Warehousing’s new warehouse distribution center in Fenton, Missouri, according to Mark Cusumano, President and CEO of FW Warehousing, which provides third party logistics services along with general warehousing, cold storage, food-grade warehousing and HAZ-MAT storage for its customers.
Appel served as Inventory Control Manager for FW Warehousing before accepting the promotion to Facility Manager for the firm’s new Fenton Facility.
“It’s a new role and a new set of challenges for Melissa, but we are confident that she will excel in her new position,” said Mark Cusumano. “She’s already playing a major part in the start up of this brand new facility. The Fenton facility will be operational in short order, maybe even by the time this story is published.”
FW Warehousing is opening its new 500,000 square foot facility in Fenton, Missouri, in order to support a major new account, a national packaging manufacturer with a local plant. With its proximity to other manufacturers in and around Fenton, Missouri, and its BN rail access, the new facility should also prove attractive to other customers as well.
