Big River Broadband is close to selecting a winner in their “THIS IS BIG” Video Competition. This competition, presented to seven local counties (including: Cape, Perry, Madison, Bollinger, Washington, St. Francois, and Ste. Genevieve Counties), has been an effective way to reach creative people throughout the Southeast Missouri area. In this competition, people were able to upload a video showing what “THIS IS BIG” meant to them. The contest has been running from January 15th and voting will continue until March 30th. This contest has been open to all individuals, groups, organizations, and schools. The videos could be humorous, serious, sentimental, etc.
After receiving over 20,000 votes for the contest Big River Broadband has narrowed down the list of finalists to the top 6. People are able log on to Big River’s website at www.bigriverbroadband.com/contest to vote for their favorite “THIS IS BIG” video. This Friday we will be narrowing down to the top 3 for voting to continue next week. The video with the most votes, towards the final date of March 30th, will be awarded with a $2500.00 check on April 2nd. Big River encourages people to vote to see their favorite video win!
In a video no longer than one minute, Big River asked people to creatively show what “THIS IS BIG” meant to them and upload it to www.bigriverbroadband.com/contest to enter to win $2500.00!
