CHESTERFIELD, MO August 12, 2013– Guest Choreographer Keith Clifton, from Huntington Beach California is coming to work with The St. Louis based American Dance Troupe August 24th and 25th.  The organization founded in 1982 is a non-profit company offering young dancers in the community an opportunity to perform all forms of dance in a concert format. Originally choreographed numbers incorporate ballet, tap, jazz and modern/contemporary dance as well as musical theater.

Clifton has been in business as a dancer, teacher, and choreographer for the last two and a half decades.  He has taught dance throughout the United States as well as in Australia, New Zealand, Canada, Japan, San Salvador, and Guatemala. He has performed on the stage in musicals including 42nd Street, George M, Oliver, My Fair Lady, A Chorus Line, and Anything Goes. Keith has also traveled as a guest artist to perform with regional ballet companies in lead roles such as: The Nutcracker, Coppélia, Swan Lake, and Firebird. He has staged and directed the entire Nutcracker ballet for The Irving Ballet of Dallas, Texas. His television credits include five Dr. Pepper commercials, three for Wendy's as well as commercials for Dodge, McDonald's, Levis and many more. He has had appearances on The Academy Awards Show, the Tim Conway Show, The Carpenter's, Wolfman Jack, and David Copperfield.

About American Dance Troupe

ADT is organized as an ensemble, with each dancer performing with other troupe members of various ages and skill levels. The group was founded in 1982 and is run under the direction of Artistic Director Mark Krupinski. 

Local Dancers from the surrounding St. Louis Metropolitan Area can audition for the 2013-2014 American Dance Troupe Season August 25, 2013.
