JULY 28, 2008, St. Charles, Missouri..."The Concert for Flood Relief," a free public event featuring four different musical groups, plus additional entertainment and exhibits, is set for Saturday August 2 from 2 pm until 10 pm at Frontier Park along the Missouri River in St. Charles, Missouri.
All profits from sales of beer, food, beverages and snacks will be donated directly to the American Red Cross St. Charles County Service Center, a unit of the St. Louis Area Chapter, to assist victims of recent flooding in St. Charles County, including homeowners and businesses.
The family-friendly event will feature bands Jasha & The Sixty Minute Men, Contagious, The Rough Ryders and Country Folk performing live on the Jaycee Stage at Frontier Park. The public is invited to bring lawn chairs and blankets for picnicking and enjoying the festivities.
Matt Neustadt, a resident of St. Charles County's Portage des Sioux and star of the hit reality TV show "Farmer Wants a Wife" on the CW Network, will pose for pictures at the event and sign autographs.
Magicians, jugglers and other performers will entertain people of all ages. The Concert for Flood Relief also will feature informative exhibits, new boat displays and representatives from The American Red Cross and other organizations discussing flood relief efforts and public safety. The American Red Cross will staff a donation bin and information booth.
In addition, tickets will be available to win a "Fantasy Date Night for Two" with a gourmet dinner, a Fox Theater concert, luxury hotel overnight accommodations, spa treatments and free limousine service for the lucky winners.
The Concert for Flood Relief is sponsored by the St. Charles Chamber of Commerce, the St. Charles Jaycees, the St. Peters Jaycees, the St. Charles County Association of Realtors, 1st Financial Federal Credit Union, U.S. Title Guaranty Company and Ameristar Casino.

The band performance schedule is: Country Folk - 2 pm; The Rough Ryders - 4 pm; Jasha & The Sixty Minute Men - 6 pm; Contagious - 8 pm. Other performers and displays will be at Frontier Park throughout the afternoon and evening.
