Erin Bode Group to appear at PBC Studios in Bethalto, IL

PBC Studios is proud to present St Louis based nationally known music legend Erin Bode in concert Saturday; June 16th.The concert will be held at PBC Studios at 128 W Central St in Bethalto, a historic building from the 1860’s. The building features a small intimate venue with comfortable seating and a beer and wine bar.

Singer/composer Erin Bode mesmerizes audiences with her striking stage presence, an irresistible voice, and a remarkable musical savvy that has positioned her at the intersection of jazz, folk and pop music often compared to Norah Jones. Her band features; Adam Maness-piano and acoustic guitar, Sydney Rodway-bass, and Mark Colenburg-drums all top-notch players with distinctive sounds of their own. Erin's talent and appeal have been lauded in the Wall Street Journal, the Washington Post, Jazz Times, the St. Louis Post-Dispatch and many other major publications. The Erin Bode Group has performed nationwide at venues such as Blues Alley in Washington D.C, Zanzibar Blue and World Cafe Live in Philadelphia, and at Sweet Rhythm and Joe's Pub in New York. They have played three European tours, as well as a stint at the Cotton Club in Tokyo, Japan. Erin has opened for Jamie Cullum, Michael Buble, Chris Botti and a host of other high profile musicians. The cd “Photograph” is the band's latest work, released July 2010. The songs on "Photograph" are at once; radio friendly and instantly singable. They are exuberant and joyful with lyrics introspective, mature and hopeful. This record is exceptional visual storytelling. They say, "The journey is the thing".
