Augusta Plein Air Event features Fine Dining with Classic Music

St. Charles Symphony String Quintet to entertain art-lovers at Mt. Pleasant Estate Dinner

St. Louis, MO – Join the Augusta Plein Air Art Event on Friday, April 27, 2012 at Mount Pleasant Estates for an evening of art, music and fine dining.  The highly-anticipated Dinner & Concert will feature music by the St. Charles Symphony String Quintet. This event will highlight art from throughout the 10 day Plein Air event with an award given for Artist Choice.

The evening will begin at 6:00pm with cocktails and an art pre-sale scheduled from 6:00 to 7:00pm. Guests are invited to view the selection of paintings created by artists during Plein Air events held earlier in the 10-day event. The paintings will be judged by fellow artists and the winner of the Artist Choice award will be announced at 6:30pm. Dinner will be served at 7:00pm.  While guests enjoy their meal, they will be serenaded by the music of the St. Charles Symphony String Quintet.

For those unable to attend, a public art sale will be held on Saturday, April 28, 2012 at Mt. Pleasant Estates from 11am to 4pm. First, second and third place prizes will be awarded in 5 categories in addition to Best of Show.
