Vernon: WTF ???

Is there any good reason to keep Marc Bulger around ??
Jeff Gordon: His massive guaranteed contract. And if Boller played like the Boller we've always seen in the NFL, what good would that do?

Joe Stafford: Jeff, I can understand Jason Smith having a rough time of it in game 1, but Bell and Cogs should be alot better, When is it time to cut our loses?
Jeff Gordon: Bell is a tough case. There is a LOT of contact left. And, no, he isn't getting it done.

BillP.: Jeff, just saw your comment there where you said Bulger was the least of the offense's troubles today. I have to disagree with you. Bulger does not help out his offensive line. Do you know how to temper the opposing teams pass rush? You make plays. You burn the other team, and they will back off. Bulger had his chances early, didn't convert anything, and the Seahawks eventually showed no respect and just came after us. If you don't make plays, the other teams is going to come after you. The O-Line gets no help here. Did you see what happened when Bulger hit Robinson deep late in the game? The Seahawks pass rush backed off on the rest of that drive, of course Marc still failed to convert for a TD in the red zone. No, I don't absolve Bulger here at all. A good way to slow down a teams pass rush is by using the screen play, but Bulger does a poor job of disguising the screen, it's pretty easy for the other team to see it coming.......I blame Rams mgmt on this one and they're just going to have to suffer with this...........PS, somebody for St. Louis is going to have to step up and secure the team to stay here!
Jeff Gordon: Cogs personally killed two drives with 15-yard penalties. McMichael ruined another chance with his false start. The run game wasn't there. Brown butchered a critical third-down snap. The other Brown misses a field goal to give the Rams the lead. There was failure all around.

With that, I'm done. Sorry I couldn't do more than 30 pages. I have another chat tommorrow.

Good night!
