Jeremy Rutherford: Hey all, I am happy to host this chat session with all of the great St Louis Blues fans. One more day of practice and then we get to play for real!
Seth M Peck: First off, congratulations on bring named Captain, and best of luck on the upcoming season. What do you see as your primary function as Captain on this team, and what will you differently from last year (if anything) now that you are officially the team's leader on the ice?
Jeremy Rutherford: As captain, I see a role for myself on the ice as someone who sets an example for the team as far as work ethic and determination. I hope to not change anything as far as my play goes, I was given this honor because of how I played in the past and hope to lead by example all over the ice.
Will: A non-hockey question...
Where did you catch that nice walleye on your twitter pic?
Jeremy Rutherford: The walleye was caught in the boundary waters between MN and Cananda. It was 29" and weighed 8 lbs. Largest walleye of my young fishing career.
Camel: How do the introductions at Scottrade compare to introductions at the Icebox in Lincoln, Nebraska
Jeremy Rutherford: Anyone who has been to the Icebox in Lincoln, NE knows that it is a special place. The introductions there are second to maybe only WWF wrestling. Maybe.
foofighter: Congrats David. Most of us were pulling for you. Well deserved.
My question is: Is 42 really the answer to THE question of the universe?
Jeremy Rutherford: First of all, thanks. Second of all, the magic eight ball I have just said, "Ask again in June."
