Pete Wilson: Is there any rumblings on t he Jeff Weaver front or are they content with what they have in the rotation?

PS

You the man!
Jeff Gordon: I'd take a Weaver on a minor league deal, but he tends to need some ramp-up time to pitch well. And the Cards hope to add Mulder in May and Carpenter in July. Where this team may need help is early.

john: is saint louis too "hick" to get an NBA team?
Jeff Gordon: No, it just isn't rich enough. Selling lower-bowl tickets NBA tickets in this market would be tough. Just ask the Blues about that. Corporations have left, the economy isn't great. It's about money, not demographics.

Tom: With the announcement of Yadi's extension, should we be looking for a trade involving Anderson that would bring in another arm?

Thanks,

tom
Jeff Gordon: If Anderson keeps hitting the ball, he becomes a trade chip. He falls into the Daric Barton category.

jn: I think this town / media is very tough on goalies. Everybody has a bad game, like Marek Schwarz. Look at Osgood here vs. now in Detroit and Lalime in Stl vs before and after. Sometimes too much credit / blame goes to the goalie, when it is such a team sport.
Jeff Gordon: True, but it's also up to the goaltenders to stop the puck. Neither Ozzie or Lalime got it done here. Neither was a positive difference maker. I like Legace and I still think Toivonen could pan out. Schwarz has come flaws that could doom him in North America.

Chris S.: I'm planning on buying season tickets next year. Do you know if the Blues plan to bring back the $7 seats?
Jeff Gordon: Too soon to tell, but the team does need to generate more revenue. The heavy discounting of lower bowl seats during the season has to be a big concern.
