comments & answers

Gail: Hi, everybody. Had to tear myself away from a discussion about the current "Top Chef" (so disappointing), but now I'm here, and we already have a ton of questions and comments. Go on and jump in, though, and I'll get to everything posted before 2 p.m.

Dennis Hillberg: Gail,
I can't be the only one that sees Jon Hamm on Mad Men and thinks "the next James Bond."
Gail: I think I see Batman.

House arrest: What do you think the best moments were on "House"? There were a lot of bad ones, but the show was awesome once. What do you consider the best of it?
Gail: I loved the first few seasons of "House" (which will end its run this spring), even after the formula became so clear -- they guess wrong, guess wrong, guess wrong and almost kill the person, and then the answer is something like lactose intolerance. Eventually, though, that got tiresome, and I thought the House-Cuddy romance was a real misstep. Throughout, though, I enjoyed House's relationship with Wilson, played by the wonderful Robert Sean Leonard.

Picking the Bones Apart: If all of us who love and miss "Bones" were to tweet the Fox network, don't you think it would create a wave that would bring it back sooner? Really. Life without "Bones"/with "Finder" is pretty grim. So if all of us who love "Bones" more than any other show were to tweet ...
Gail: Yeah, I'm sure that would work. Give it a try. But make sure the Fox decision-makers are following you.

Tom: I'm the second biggest Bones fan on here, and boy do I get grief about it, do you know when Bones returns? Also, any chance Emily will show up in New York, when her sister hosts SNL? I also love that you aren't "above" responding to people on your Facebook page. Thanks!
Gail: Oh good heavens, there are two of you!
As I understand, "Bones" returns in early April. I haven't heard the exact date.
If "SNL" were clever, they'd do a sketch with Zooey and Emily, wouldn't they? I said "if."
