Think….My business has improved under Obama. Under Bush we witnessed 750,000 new unemployment claims per month…Now it’s closer to 200,000.

You want Obama to create miracles in 8 months after 8 years of economic incompetence.

Most major pieces of legislation include thousands of pages.
The 1935 Social Security Act was 2,455 pages in length.
Each Congressmen has a staff of 14 congressional aids who read and summerize the legislation. Believe it or not, most Congressman read the entire bill before it’s discussed on the House floor.

    That’s their job.

    Mr. Garrison,

Don’t forget about Jimmy Carter’s deep recession he gave us in the 70’s. You should remember that time since we just reached the unemployment rate from that era.

Unemployment keeps rising. We’ve had 10 months of Obama recovery and yet jobs are still being lost. What is even more scary is that the legislation that is on deck is going to make 10.2% look small when it hits companies. A second depression isn’t so far-fetched if government take over of all manufacturing and all health care goes into effect.

Mr. Garrison, you may not think that you are going to be affected, but as a small business owner you should be scared. You may not realize it, but your control over your own business is slipping away. Many small businesses like your will not survive. Do you want your blind loyalties to be the cause of your downfall?

The time to stand up and hold these people in Washington accountable for their actions is now. We don’t have to agree, but we need to expect people that we elect to actually make informed decisions and act out of principle, not let money drive their decisions. A 2000 page bill? Get serious. Who wrote it? Who has even read it?

You can’t blame jj for trying to reach for something.
The market is up again today.
The last time the republicans gave us a depression it took 4 years and FDR to bring unemployment levels below 7%….Now suddenly, the ditto-heads expect Obama to wave a magic wand and make every Bush blunder disappear.
