$60 Lollapalooza tickets offered this week
St. Louis Post-Dispatch
It’s that time again.
The three day mega festival Lollapalooza (Aug. 7-9, Chicago’s Grant Park) is offering the chance to buy $60 souvenir passes to anyone lucky enough to be visiting the site when the limited run is released. Festival attendees normally pay around $200 for three day passes.
The email alert would only hint that the link would appear ‘this week.’ It also inferred that the offer is for “Lolla newsletter subscibers,” so if you’re interested, you may want to subscribe first.

Agreed, the Chili Peppers were the lamest part of the festival in my opinion. If you’re headlining a major festival, you need to give the crowd what they paid for: your hits.

I went to the 2006 show for old times sake. Saw a few great performances. however, was disappointed with the Chili Peppers. Thought they were flat and had a lousy set list. Wilco, the Flaming Lips, racountours, and new pornographers were outstanding….Jeremy Enigk, Death Cab, and Iron and Wine were decent as well

thanks for the heads up, but I’m not holding my breath. There are tens of thousands of people hitting “refresh” furiously for a few hundred tickets available.
