sun1.jpgHere’s a rundown of the musical offerings at this weekend’s PrideFest in Tower Grove Park in South St. Louis. Brooklyn (by way of Madison) hip-hop duo God-des and She (right) are headlining the fest and are set to tear it up at 7 p.m. Sunday. They play politically-conscious R&B and hip hop — but definitely make it fun and rockin’.

Organizers are expecting their biggest turnout yet — over 60,000 — as the weather looks to be free of rain for most of the weekend (though a shower or two might be welcome if it’s muggy.)

A pet parade will be noon Saturday at MorganFord Road at Utah Street and the main Pride parade is noon Sunday at Grand Boulevard at Gravois Avenue, both proceeding to Tower Grove Park. See http://www.pridestl.org/index.html for all of the details. The website even has a cool music player.
