And to all the Repulicans posting on this blog–let’s not forget the accident by Chuck Portwood. And I quote from http://www.missourinet.com
“A State Representative has been officially charged with drunk driving in an accident that left his pick-up stranded on a railroad tie barrier in the backyard of a home in Manchester. Representative Charles Portwood of Ballwin has been charged with leaving the scene of an accident, a felony, and drunken driving, a misdemeanor. Police say blood alcohol tests indicate Portwood’s BAC was more than double the legal limit.”

edl, the trial didn’t take place in St. Francois County. Robinson applied for and received a change of venue which I believe was moved to St. Louis County.
Democrats weren’t ashamed of this guy, because NO ONE asked or demanded that he step down EVEN after he was caught on tape switching seats at the school. He was allowed to serve out his term knowing what he did and no one challenged him on it.
You are correct that it shouldn’t be a partisan thing. But according to a truck passenger who was present, Brad and the county Sheriff seemed to decide on the “wife was driving” story because “it was an election year.”
Richard, check the number of political fix posts on Cooper, Muschany, Robinson, Smith, et al. and tell us which ones got more exposure. Then use a little objectivity and see if it was remotely “balanced.”

Don’t try and make this a partisan issue. Democrats are all ashamed of this guy, just like Republicans should all be ashamed of Scott Muschany.
And maybe Tony didn’t twitter from this trial because it took place in St. Francois County where the crime was committed and Tony is in the Jefferson City Bureau.
Quit trying to make this a partisan thing. Brad Robinson did a terrible thing and it has nothing to do with his party affiliation.

“I wonder why D. Walker hasn’t chimed in on this story yet. Maybe because of party affiliation?”
.
Is that why you chimed in?

Maybe Tony will finally get Twittering when the civil trial gets underway. The victim is suing the pants off Mr. and Mrs. Robinson, and possibly the others involved in the coverup. The situation is similar to that of O.J. Simpson.

Robinson and his wife, Tara, pulled into a nearby high school parking lot and switched seats after the accident, then drove back to the scene, according to testimony.
Another Lie – I think that’s called perjury!!!! They went home and then SHE came back to the scene with a friend. With the “Oh My Gosh – What Happened” routine!!!!

He’s a liar!!!! First he wasn’t driving… Then he got caught on video at the local high school changing places with his wife… Then he hadn’t been drinking… On the stand he admits to a few beers…
I read somewhere that he and his family were helping the person that he hit… Another lie! He should have done jail time – Period… Anyone that is not a Rep (or former Rep) would be!!! No Justice Done Here!!!!!!

I am confused. According to many bloggers on this site no one at the post, and especially Tony Messenger, would report anything negative about a Democrat. What gives Tony?
