Phyllis Schlafly, founder of the Eagle Forum, was among the delegates and alternates from Missouri and other states who attended the opening party Sunday night at the Minneapolis Convention Center.
The party was meshed with the region’s Civic Fest, a fabulous display of historic memorabilia (a mock-up of Air Force and FDR’s bona fide presidential limo among them) and videos.
