Technical glitches abound everywhere. Finally able to get to the results page for the Boston Marathon. Here’s a list of the area’s top finishers. Apologies if we missed someone who didn’t list a city in the area as their hometown. Let me know if we need to add someone.

UPDATE: After a couple emails, we included Fleet Feet’sAJ Hoeltzel. I appreciate the input.

  4. Mitch Figas, Washington, Mo., 2:50:24
  5. Dr. Gerald Zavorsky, St. Louis, 2:54:39
  6. Kyle Anderson, St. Louis, 2:57:44

Thanks for the info on St. Louis finishers. I was a spectator and loved every minute of it! I am the proud mother of a marathon runner listed above.
There is another St. Louis area runner who finished with a time of 3:01+. His name is AJ and he works for Fleet Feet. You may want to track him down.

I was trying to get results for runners from Missouri and Illinois on Monday and Tuesday but couldn’t access the site. Probably too much traffic on the site. Tried again on Wednesday morning and had no problem searching for the results that you see here.

Are you saying that the Boston Marathon’s Web page had technical problems? I couldn’t find tracking results Monday during the course of the race, though I’ve had no trouble in past years. (I assumed it was user error on my part.)
