Can you dance and ride a horse, but not at the same time? Dolly Parton’s Dixie Stampede Dinner and Show is looking for horseback riders and performers for its 2009 season. The family attraction seeks individuals with outgoing personality, stage presence and showmanship. Horseback riding experience is helpful but not necessary. Ability to learn quickly is a requirement.
Candidates should be prepared to dance as well as ride.
Open auditions are at 9 a.m. Monday, Feb. 9. Apply in person at Dixie Stampede Dinner Attraction, 1525 West 76 Country Blvd., Branson, Missouri (1-mile west of Highway 65 on the famous 76 Strip).
Dixie Stampede’s new show opens Feb. 27 and runs to Oct. 24.
